Chandra Boone 

CSL Professional Learning Specialist

Chandra Boone is the Professional Development Specialist for The Center for Strategic Leadership and Organizational Coherence. Chandra Boone has over 15 years of experience leading educators and students in topics of mathematics and equity.

Chandra began her career as a high school mathematics teacher in Tennessee where she discovered that teaching also included social justice advocacy. From there, she expanded her reach to Texas as a high school mathematics teacher, campus-based instructional coach, district-level professional development specialist, and district-level secondary mathematics curriculum coordinator. The knowledge attained while in these positions expanded her knowledge of standards-aligned instruction, effective pedagogy, and support of teachers and leaders through instructional coaching.

Most recently, Chandra served as the Founding Director of Secondary Mathematics at the University of Arkansas for a university-based program designed to mitigate inequities and an Associate Director of Instructional Support within an organization focused on supporting states with adopting high-quality instructional material.

Chandra has a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Lane College and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington.
