William Taylor
Project Director
William Taylor serves as the Project Director of SEED within The Center for Strategic Leadership and Organizational Coherence where he uses his executive leadership skills to develop district and school leaders. Having over 25 years of experience in the field of education, William has mentored teacher leaders, aspiring school leaders, and district personnel to improve overall climate, culture, and academic performance and growth.
Prior to his tenure at CSL, William served the Memphis-Shelby County Schools district in the following positions: Principal, Assistant Principal, Regional Instructional Leadership Coach and teacher. Serving the district in these positions provided the foundation needed to positively affect instructional change while appreciating the real-time struggles of leaders and influencing the development of rising educational stars.
William earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University and Master’s Degree in Education and Curriculum from Christian Brothers University. His primary focus is to use his professional toolbox to support improvement in school districts and increase efficacy in school leaders.
